Online with this game is pretty fun, but most of the races are 5-6 race sets and if you get in a group with people that are awesome at this game (and there are a LOT of them!) then you're stuck with them for 5 or so races! There is absolutely NO lag time or delay in controls on a good broadband connection, and getting in a race is easy and fast. The only race it doesn't "reload" are the Crash type races. The graphics are subpar, as they could be better.but at 175 MPH it's hard to spot good graphics! The loading times are AWFUL, as it takes FOREVER to load the races and if you want to RETRY.you're in for the FULL load time once again. It is definitely a "get-your-friends-over-with-some-beer-and-blow-crap-up" type of game! :) Controls are easy, and if you're going 180 MPH.you REALLY feel like you're going that fast as the environment FLIES past you! Gameplay is fun, but of course if you overplay it in one day you may get a little bored. Road Rage, take out as many cars as possible, and they give you a set amount of cars to wreck to get your medal. Crash, which they give you a section of a busy road and your object is to cause as much chaos as possible and creating a BIG dollar amount of damage to earn your gold medal. Race, which of course is first to the finish, smashing and shunting your way to victory. To start, there are a couple of ways to play during a "career mode". I've played the Burnout: 3 demo in past, and my friends couldn't stop playing the one stage over and over again! I decided to purchase this title, since I skipped out on Burnout: 3, and I wasn't disappointed! The same basic concept is in this one as the 3rd.destroy cars!! There's little more to do in this title, as the other types of "races" keep you interested! A number of online modes are included as well, for properly equipped gamers who are raring to test their destructive driving skills against other human opponents.Īfghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan Republic, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Cape Verde Islands, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, Gabon Republic, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Croatia, Republic of the Congo, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Vietnam, Wallis and Futuna, Western Samoa, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe Wreckage-prone racing occurs all around the world in this edition of Burnout, in areas inspired by real-world cities, such as Detroit, Rome, and Tokyo. As in its immediate predecessor, offensive driving and spectacular crashes are the focus of Burnout: Revenge, and this fourth game in the series is designed to offer more avenues to destruction than any of its predecessors, by featuring a greater capacity for real-time damage and car deformation, multilevel track layouts that allow players to ram their opponents from below or above, as well as from behind or in front, and a new "revenge meter" that encourages players to pay back - with interest - those who wrong them on the roads. Revenge is the name of the game, both figuratively and literally, in this follow-up to Criterion's breakthrough sports car racer, Burnout 3: Takedown (truly a "smash hit").
